    ETCR9400 Zinc Oxide Lightning Arrester Clamp Live Tester, also known as Zinc oxide lightning arrester full current tester, zinc oxide lightning arrester leakage current tester, 10kV zinc oxide lightning arrester live tester, which is used for measuring leakage current of zinc oxide lightning arrester below 35kV in order to judge whether the performance of the lighting arrester has deteriorated. Not request to disconnect power and disassemble arrester, operation is safe and efficient. According to Article 9.1 of the Electric Power Industry Standard DL/474.5-2018 Implementation Guidelines for Field Insulation Testing - Lightning Arrester Testing, in order to detect whether the lightning arrester is damp inside and whether the metal oxide resistor is deteriorating during operation, the method of regularly testing the continuous power frequency current during operation can be adopted. Under normal circumstances, the continuous current passing through the lightning arrester is very small. Once the interior is damp, the current can increase to several milliamperes or even tens of milliampere.
    Due to the fluctuation of operating voltage, it is difficult to determine an absolute standard to judge whether there is severe dampness. However, it is possible to compare past records with three-phase, If there is a significant difference in leakage current, it must be addressed. The staff can decide whether to maintain and handle the lightning arrester based on the leakage situation tested by this tester, avoiding blind disassembly and testing.
    ETCR9400 Zinc Oxide Lightning Arrester Clamp Live Tester is consisted of host, detector and insulating rod. The host and detector adopts wireless communication with 30m communication distance. The host not only can remote control the clamp of tester to open or close for testing, but also display the tested value of current and the situation of clamp head in real time. The detector uses a micro motor to drive the opening or closing of the clamp head. The clamp head is made of high-performance permalloy, which has strong anti-interference ability and is almost unaffected by external magnetic fields, with 1uA resolution. The detector can be connected to insulating rod for testing zinc oxide lightning arresters on high-voltage line. The instrument can also be used as an ultra high precision clamp leakage current meter. The instrument also has data hold and memory function, equipped with a USB interface, and the stored data can be uploaded to the computer.
